This sucks.

I'm sitting here, realizing that I'm not going to get a job today. It's 12:50 PM and all possibilities of getting a call from the substitute services for SJUSD are gone. I really need to apply with some other districts so I can get some more work. I'm going to be so fucking broke, I don't even know how I'm going to make it. Fuck this. Something needs to change. Funny thing is, I actually like substitute teaching now, it's not a huge pain in the ass like it was before.

I just checked the mail and I got two employment inquiry letters from the state. Not bad, but it doesn't help me right now. That is the best I can do right now though, at least there's hope for the future.

BirthdaY

It's my 15th annual 26th birthday tomorrow, which is a way of avoiding saying that I'm turning 40. I'm kinda bummed about turning 40, but it's not too bad, since I'm still doing what I like and I'm not fat and ugly like I thought I might be at this age. I'm going to try to go to the drive in movies again to see Monsters Vs. Aliens. It's supposed to rain but I'm hoping that the rain skips Rancho Cordova for tonight at least. Nothing is ever going to beat last year's Doomsday showing, the perfect punk rock movie for a perfect punk rock birthday party, but hopefully it will still be fun.
